How it works?
This is Pay Per Sale (PPS) Affiliate program. What you need to do is to send visitors to the Studio-389 web site via a
special link (called your Studio-389 "affiliate link"). When the visitor
buys any web hosting product or service from Studio-389, the affiliate
system credits the sale to your affiliate account.
When you sign up for
the Studio-389 Affiliate Program, you get access to the affiliate
control panel. In the automated and user-friendly control panel
where everything is tracked for you in real-time,
you can access web banners, cut-and-paste HTML codes and sample text to
include on your website, special promotional discount coupons and tips & tricks to
earn more money with our Affiliate program.

What are
requirements and how much does this cost me?
There is
nothing required, no fees or setup costs of any kind. You don't even
need to have a web hosting account with Studio-389. You just need a
desire to make money, sign up and get
started. You will be up and
running in under 5 minutes with all tools and tips how to start earning
money!
You do not need a website! You can promote Studio-389's products and services
via search engines, postings on Internet blogs and forums, or by simply
emailing your friends and people you know.

I show a
referral. When will I get my check?
Every account you refer needs to remain active for more than 30 days,
during our money back guarantee period.
Our payment threshold is currently set at $10, so after these referrals
have been active over 30 days, we will paid to your PayPal or
Moneybookers account during the next immediate pay period.

I'd like to refer a friend. Do you offer a referral program?
Yes! Our Affiliate Program offers advertisers and everyday webmasters
the ability to earn up to $40,00 for sale sent our way. Once your
referred accounts have been active over 30 days, we will pay to your
PayPal or Moneybookers account during the next immediate pay period.
When you join the program we issue you an affiliate link. This link will
be something like http://www.studio-389.com/index.php?ref=affiliate and
will be your connection between all clicks and sales made under the
program.
When you're ready to refer someone, give them your link. It will
redirect them to Studio-389.com where they can purchase hosting like
normal. Your commission will then automatically and immediately show up
in your affiliate control panel.

How often do you send
out payments?
We send payments in increments of $10 by PayPal or Moneybookers
twice/month. Our pay periods are
- period 1 (1-15) is paid on the 24th of each month.
- period 2 (15-30/31) is paid on the 9th of each
month.

How do you track my
commissions?
Every affiliate is provided with an Affiliate Tracking URL (or link)
upon signup. It will look something like this,
http://www.studio-389.com/index.php?ref=affiliate, and will end with the
username you choose upon signup. This link has a cookie attached to it,
which remembers your unique affiliate username. When a customer clicks
your link, the cookie is stored in their browser and follows them all
the way to the signup page. After they purchase hosting, your commission
appears in your affiliate control panel! This is an
automatic and immediate process that tracks every single sale you make.

Do I have to place a banner, link, or Studio-389 logo on my site in
order to become an affiliate?
No you are not required to place a link, banner, or affiliate logo! If
you simply want to refer your friends, family, coworkers, or clients via
face-to-face or online interactions, simply provide them with your
Affiliate Tracking URL and have them click on it prior to purchase.
However, we do recommend you place the Studio-389 logo or link on your
site if you receive targeted traffic from webmasters, designers, etc,
who may be interested in web hosting from Studio-389. That way, if
someone decides to signup via your website, you'll receive a pleasant
commision surprise for your secret referral!

What is a 'qualified
commission'?
A qualified commission is any sale you refer to us, which was referred
via your Affiliate Tracking URL and is a 12/24 month Start! or
Unlimited! hosting plan or domain name registration.

Can I earn commissions on extra domain names, add-ons, or sub domains?
Yes. We offer commissions on any new accounts purchased with Studio-389.
Renewals, add-on domains, sub domains, and extra add-ons like JSP,
Dedicated IPs, ASP, etc, are eligible for commissions.

How
will I know when my commission has been qualified?
The whole process is as automated as possible, so once you make a order
and sale, it shows at your affiliate control panel under 'Sales'

It's all pretty simple, and you don't need to know anything besides the
basic commands of copy and paste.
Go to your affiliate control panel and take a look at our banner
section.
There is a gallery of text-links and banners. Under every
text-link/banner is a HTML code with your affiliate username included.
Select HTML code under text-link/banner you like, copy the code from the
box and paste it into your website/forum/blog wherever you'd like it to
appear.

ID/Username?
Your Affiliate ID is the username you chose upon signup.

I want to
change my Username – how do I do that?
Everything in our affiliate system can be altered via your affiliate
control panel. Everything except... your username. ;)
We don’t allow affiliates to alter their own usernames, as we need to
make sure within our own systems that the username isn’t already taken.
Otherwise, all men named John Smith may choose “johnsmith” as the
username and we’d have multiple accounts.
So, simply email affiliate[at]studio-389.com and ask to have your
username changed. Normally, there’s never a problem.

Do I need multiple affiliate IDs if I’m advertising on multiple sites?
Nope! The nice thing about the Affiliate Tracking URL is that it will
track your clicks, sales, and commissions from any website at any time.
When you login to your affiliate control panel, just click on the
appropriate section to see where each individual click and sale
originated.

Do I

Of course. While we’d love to be the only web host on your review site
or the only recommended host you are affiliated with, the best reviews
and recommendations are the honest ones. Having several sites listed,
even our competitors, is perfectly fine.

Yes! This is a great way to send targeted traffic to the landing page
